General information
On 25 May, 2018, the General Regulation on the Protection of Personal Data of Natural Persons (GDPR) 2016/679, adopted by the European Union, entered into force. The GDPR aims to ensure the protection of the data of natural persons from all EU member states, as well as to unify the regulations for their processing.
In its capacity as a personal data administrator in fulfillment of its legal obligation to provide universal postal service, non-universal postal services and postal money transfers and in its capacity as a processor of personal data for accompanying other activities and services, Bulgarian Posts Plc strictly fulfills all its obligations arising from the GDPR when collecting, processing and protecting the data of individuals. Bulgarian Posts Plc is always guided by the principles of good faith and legality, and operates with data of natural persons only to the extent that they are necessary for the performance of the services.
