INTERCONNECT is a collaborative network of postal operators working as a single operational network, which offers e-retailers and shoppers a reliable cross-border service. Traditional international postal networks are no longer able to keep up with the hyper-competitive and fast-growing international e-commerce market. The need for a competitive, collaborative network of postal operators for acceptance, transmission and delivery of items end-to-end, with sufficient item tracking data  and events that fully meet the needs of online shoppers and e-retailers, led to the creation of the International Postal Corporation’s (IPC) Interconnect Economy Courier Network.

FEATURES

Through the INTERCONNECT network participating operators commit to accept and deliver items according to mutually agreed competitive prices and quality standards.

INTERCONNECT items can weigh up to 30 kg, except for Sweden which accepts items up to 20 kg.

The maximum dimensions of INTERCONNECT items are up to 1.50 m for any of the dimensions or up to 3 m for the sum of the length and the greatest circumference measured not along the length of the item.

• Sending an INTERCONNECT item by an individual or a legal entity at any post office or EMS/Bulpost office for 30 countries.
• Delivery of the item against the signature of the recipient.
• Full tracking of the items in real time on Bulgarian Posts’ website.
• Competitive prices and delivery times.
• Possibility to send the items at a post office or at the address by requesting a courier against payment of an additional charge of 20% on the total price for the service.
